NOTD Claire's Night Sky

Hi everyone! I was in the mood to wear glitter yesterday so today I have a glitter bombshell polish to show you! Claire's Night Sky is awesome! It's a clear base packed with dark blue glitter and tons of holographic chunky glitter. I put on three coats and it was pretty opaque. It was a bit gritty so I added one coat of Gelous gel coat on top of the glitter followed by one coat of seche vite. The result is a smooth nail packed with awesome glitter! Check it out! Oh and of course today when I was taking picks, there wasn't too much sunlight. But I managed to capture some.

Amazing! This is one of the coolest glitters I own! And it is so much sparkly in person especially in the sun! I got tons of compliments on this today. Oh and so far I am very happy with the Gelous gel for nails. I will wear it more and do a full review on it. Anyway, Night Sky from Claire's is glittergasm worthy! Here's a mini video to show the actual sparkle:

As always, thanks for checking out my blog! Oh and stay tuned because I'm almost up to 400 likes on facebook so I will be having another giveaway soon! Thanks for all of your support!

NOTD China Glaze Luxe and Lush over Side-Saddle

Hi everyone! So yesterday I really wanted to try out China Glaze Luxe and Lush from the Hunger Games collection and I wanted a nice base for underneath. I decided to go with China Glaze Side Saddle from the Rodeo Diva collection. Side Saddle is a gorgeous dark purple with gold shimmer color. It's very unique because in some light it looks more gold and other light it looks more purple. I didn't take pics of Side Saddle by itself but I will. Then I put one coat of Luxe and Lush on top. I was very surprised at how much I liked Luxe and Lush. The big flakies weren't as much trouble as I thought. I had to rearrange a couple of pieces but it didn't stick out from my nail as much as I thought. Here is one coat over two coats of Side Saddle:

So all in all, I like Luxe and Lush very much! Like I said, you have to rearrange some flakies as you're applying it because sometimes they will stick out over the nail but this isn't too bad. I want to see how this will look over greens, teals, and reds. As for Side Saddle, I found this at Sally's last year so I'm sure it's still available. The Rodeo Diva collection came out in 2008 but many of the colors are permanently available. What do you think of this combo? I haven't seen The Hunger Games, how were the nails in the movie? Anyway, Thanks for reading!

NOTD Deborah Lippmann Across the Universe

Hi everyone! Now I know I have dozens of new polishes to use and review but yesterday I asked on Facebook, which polish should I put on next. China Glaze DV8, Across the Universe or China Glaze Luxe and Lush and I received Across the Universe as a response so I gladly put it on. ATU is one of my favorite polishes! It's a navy blue jelly base with alot of different shaped blue and green glitter suspended in it. I love it because it looks like murky blue ocean water suspended on my nails! So gorgeous! It's hard for me to photograph though. I can't quite capture it's full beauty on camera but it is amazing! Here is three coats:

Even with three coats, this still isn't 100% opaque but it works because of the glitter. This also looks gorgeous over a navy blue polish. This was my first Deborah Lippmann polish and I was instantly addicted! I debated on getting it for a while and I finally picked it up last year. This was worth my $18!! What do you guys think?

NOTD Zoya Barbie with Zoya Chloe

Hi everyone! So yesterday I was in the mood for pink nail polish, I looked in my stash and decided to give Zoya Barbie a try. I've wanted to try Barbie for a while. It's a beautiful bubblegum pink with a hint of iridescent shimmer. The color is great, the formula is another story. I was not happy with this formula at all. Barbie is a little sheer but the formula is thick and goes on streaky and uneven. I had to use three coats for full coverage. In pictures, Barbie looks similar to OPI Pink Friday but they are not dupes.

Then I decided to add a coat of Zoya Chloe on top. After that, I added a coat of Zoya Armor and my quick dry drops. It took forever to dry. I waited over two hours, then went to bed. This morning I woke up and had some sheet marks on some of my nails! I was so mad! My Zoya Armor and Barbie just took forever to dry! I really like the color so I'll give it another shot and next time I'll use Out the Door top coat to see if that makes a difference. Here's Barbie with Chloe on top:

So I love the combination! This mani looks better in person, there's alot of overcast today in my area so I couldn't get pics in the sun. But applying Barbie and it's dry time were a little annoying. Like I said, I'll give it another shot. Thanks for reading and checking out my blog!

So I'm trying to catch up on my slideshows! I finally finished my January slideshow! Enjoy and thanks for watching!

NOTD OPI DS Reflection

Hi everyone!! I hope you all had a great weekend! I certainly did! On Saturday, I met up with one of my best friends and she gave me some nail goodies for a belated birthday gift. One of them was the gorgeous OPI DS Reflection. I put it on as soon as I got home! Now I've seen this color in pictures but it is so much prettier in person!. DS Reflection is part of the OPI Designer Series and I believe this collection is supposed to have diamond dust in the formula, that's why this collection is always more expensive than other OPI polishes. The only other DS color I have is Extravagance which is also gorgeous. Anyway, Reflection is a sparkly red with orange and gold undertones. It's very sparkly and has a hint of gold duochrome in it. The formula is great! It's almost opaque in one coat but here is two coats.

There's also a hint of holo due to the diamond dust. I love this color! And it's so much sparklier in person! Gorgeous red! I can't wait to put this on my toes! Here's a mini video of the polish in motion:
