NOTD Oct 27, 2011 China Glaze Haunting

Hi everyone, today's NOTD is China Glaze Haunting from this year's halloween collection. I love it! It's a black creme with silver glitter and the formula is pretty smooth. I used two coats here but I could have done three. Don't mind the bald spot on my middle finger of my left hand. Happy early Halloween!

As always, thanks for checking out my blog!

Nail Polish Throwback #3 China Glaze GR8

Today's Nail Polish Throwback comes from the ever sought after OMG collection by China Glaze. The OMG collection is a holographic nail polish collection that was released in 2008 and is now discontinued. The collection consisted of 12 shades and many of them can still be found on Ebay, and Amazon. I have around 5 shdes from this collection. This shade here is called GR8. It is a yellow holographic polish. These polishes are more stunning in person than they are  in photos.

More pics from the OMG collection coming soon! Thanks for reading! Feel free to leave any questions or comments! Thank you!

My latest Nail polish haul!!

Hi everyone! Here is my latest nail polish haul! I was supposed to be on a no buy but who am I kidding?! There's just too many awesome nail polishes especially lately with the holidays coming up. I'm also in trouble because I finally found a Sally Beauty supply not too far from where I live, AND a new beauty supply store opened up at the mall I always go to. I just have to try and stay clear of both those stores for a while... yeah let's see how long that lasts! Anyway, here is my haul and I also posted a video.

From L to R: China Glaze Golden Enchantment, Cross Iron 360, Solar Power, Orly Sweet Peacock, Sea Gurl, Fowl Play, and Stone Cold.

Thanks for reading and watching! And if you subscribe/comment/rate, thank you!!!

NOTD Oct. 25, 2011 Layla Black Metal Magnetic nail polish

Hi everyone! Today's NOTD is Layla Black Metal magnetic nail polish! I really like magnetic nail polish but it took me a couple of times to get it right. Here I used the Layla polish but I used the Nails Inc magnet for the effect. I just like the Nails Inc magnet better. Here are two coats:

I really like the 3D effect made by the magnet. These pics do not do this polish justice. It's pretty amazing in person! Check out my magnetic nail polish tutorial on how to use this polish right on the post before this one. Thanks for reading!

So much for my no buy!!

So I discovered a Sally Beauty Supply not too far from my house today... and let's just say there goes my no buy!! I went in there looking for the new Orly Mineral FX collection and I only found Stone Cold. I also browsed the clearance section and the only polish left in clearance was China Glaze Solar Power for $1.99 so I had to get that! I also picked up China Glaze Iron Cross because it's an amazing burnt orange frost color, and I don't have any color similar to it.  I want to try and use Iron Cross and Solar Power for a water marble. Well here is my mini haul of today. Now I really have to stop and not buy polishes for a while!!
From L to R: Solar Flare, Stone Cold, and Iron Cross.

NOTD Oct. 20, 2011 OPI Rainbow Connection

Hi everyone! I really wanted to use OPI Rainbow Connection for my next mani but I couldn't decide which color to use as a base. I was torn between OPI Jade is the New Black from the Hong Kong collection and OPI Black Onyx so I decided to do one hand with each color.

Two coats of Jade is the new Black on my left hand

Two coats of Black Onyx on my right hand
I added two coats of Rainbow Connection from the new OPI Muppets collection and WOW!! This glitter is amazing! I love it! I want to get a backup bottle of this because I know I'm going to use it over and over! The glitter went on like a dream, very easily. After the first coat, wait until the coat is dry before adding another coat otherwise you will pick up the glitter on the brush or move it around. But here it is!!

I love this glitter so much!! It's like a party on my nails and everyone is invited!!! I hope you like the pics. Feel free to leave any comments/questions and thank you for checking out my blog!!

NOTD Oct. 18, 2011 China Glaze Fortune Teller

Hey everyone! In honor of Halloween I am rockin Fortune Teller by China Glaze! Fortune Teller was released in 2009 and is no longer available. You can still find Fortune Teller on Ebay and Amazon.com. This amazing polish is a black jelly base with different sized copper glitter. This is a great color and I'm bummed it's not part of China Glaze's permanent line. This is a great shade for Halloween and the fall.  I love it!! Here I am wearing 3 coats.

Nails on Vacation!

So here are my nails on vacation! I went away for a week and did not take anything to do my nails with so my nails were the same for a whole week! We were mainly at Universal Studios for the Halloween Horror Nights so I decided to make my nails Halloween themed. I used two coats of China Glaze It's Alive and two coats of China Glaze Ghoulish Glow so my nails could glow in the dark at night! I tried but could not get a good picture of my nails at night at all. The only time my nails actually glowed was when we were in the haunted houses but I couldn't take pics in the houses. So here are my nails on vacation!
Day 1: Here are my nails at the airport

Day 2: Here are my nails in our hotel room

Day 2: Hotel

Day 3: Hotel

Day 3: Hotel
