So these were most of the NOTD's I had from the past couple of months that I didn't get to blog about. I'm trying to catch up completely! Many of these are actually some of my very favorites of 2012 but I'm working on my top 10 polishes of 2012. That's a tough one because there were so many great collections in 2012. NOTD Claire's Night Sky

Hi everyone! I was in the mood to wear glitter yesterday so today I have a glitter bombshell polish to show you! Claire's Night Sky is awesome! It's a clear base packed with dark blue glitter and tons of holographic chunky glitter. I put on three coats and it was pretty opaque. It was a bit gritty so I added one coat of Gelous gel coat on top of the glitter followed by one coat of seche vite. The result is a smooth nail packed with awesome glitter! Check it out! Oh and of course today when I was taking picks, there wasn't too much sunlight. But I managed to capture some.

Amazing! This is one of the coolest glitters I own! And it is so much sparkly in person especially in the sun! I got tons of compliments on this today. Oh and so far I am very happy with the Gelous gel for nails. I will wear it more and do a full review on it. Anyway, Night Sky from Claire's is glittergasm worthy! NNF Files Happy/Earthy Claire's Mood polish

Hey everyone! Today I have another older pic from 2011. This is Claire's Mood polish in Happy/Earthy. I remember seeing pics and videos of mood polish on the internet and running out and buying a bunch of them at Claire's. Turns out that they are cool to watch them change color on your nails but they chip right away, they are really thin and sheer,  and they are not 3 free so they leave the nail bed extremely dry and stripped of moisture. I tried out 4 of the 10 colors I have and they all chipped really fast. Such a disappointment. Eventually I will get to trying out the remainding colors I have. Happy/Earthy changes from green to yellow and vice versa. Here is three coats:

These tend to go on with a matte finish too. I like the whole french effect this gives when my nails are long, I just wish the polish would last longer than a day without chipping! I haven't put on a mood polish in a long time so I will go back and rediscover them in my stash. What do you all think of mood polishes? Have you tried them? What brands have you tried?
