NOTD and review Nars Disco Inferno

Hey everyone! Today I have a full review on Nars Disco Inferno. This is a limited edition polish that was released for summer 2013 which is described as an iridescent silver green. Now this was my very first Nars nail polish ever! I've always been curious to try their colors but I never wanted to shell out the $19 per bottle. Well lets just say that I'm glad I work for Sephora so I was able to try this baby out. Well I had a feeling that the formula would be sheer but it was very sheer! I needed four coats and I could have still used another one for complete opacity.

So here I had to use four coats and the formula was pretty streaky. The brush pulls the formula very easily so you can end up with bald patches on your nails. That was a little frustrating. And I really couldn't get a good picture of the duo chrome.

You can see it more in person. There is a silver green duochrome to it. If you like Nars, silver polishes, and have patience to deal with this polish then get it. Other than that, I wasn't too happy with Disco Inferno. I'm going to try to layer it over a foil silver polish like Zoya Trixie and compare. I still want to try other Nars polishes, this one hasn't discouraged me! Anyway, I hope this review was helpful. Nars Disco Inferno is sold wherever Nars is sold including Sephora and is limited edition. Thanks for reading!!

NOTD OPI You're Such a Budapest with OPI Polka.com

Hey everyone! Sorry for the lack of posts! Today I have two very pretty nail polishes to review. OPI You're Such a Budapest and OPI Polka.com. Both are from the OPI Euro Centrale Spring 2013 collection. I have a few colors from this very pretty collection. First up is OPI You're Such a Budapest which is a beautiful creamy lavender.

OPI You're Such a Budapest is such a pretty almost periwinkle lavender. And the formula is great! This was opaque in two coats, non streaky and just creamy and perfect! This was great on it's own but I decided to add OPI Polka.com on top.

Polka.com is a clear base with blue, teal, purple, and pink hex glitter and small glitter. The distribution of the glitter was a little tricky. The brush wasn't picking up as much glitter as I wanted so I had to do two coats. The formula wasn't really thick or thin. But all in all I love how pretty the mix of colors are in this glitter! I can't wait to try this glitter on top of other colors! Thanks for reading! Also I'm now on Instagram so feel free to follow me @nailsneverfails
