I'm Back!!!

Hello lovelies!! So sorry I haven't posted on my blog in months but I have been posting almost daily on my facebook page Nails Never Fails and I post daily on my instagram @Nailsneverfails. Feel free to follow me there. I've been super busy with work since I've been promoted over the summer and I've also been traveling like crazy but I will be catching up and posting here again! Stay tuned and thanks so much for all of your support!! Happy holidays!! I went through my stash and picked out some favorites for the holidays! Here's what's on my nails right now: 

The green glitter is Fresh Frog of Bel air over Jade is the new Black, the red glitter is Gettin Miss Piggy with it over OPI The Thrill of Brazil, and the gold polish is OPI Goldeneye. My nails look like Christmas lights!! Happy Holidays everyone!!

Valentine's Day Mani's!!

Hello lovelies! So I'm not a huge fan of Valentine's Day at all but I did wear a couple of V-day mani's. First I whipped out Orly Torrid which is a gorgeous metallic red. Then I wanted something simple for the accent nail so I just put on one coat of Orly Pink Flakie topcoat which I love and I should have bought another back up bottle when I found them on sale at Sally's!! The formula on Torrid was a little thin but nothing three coats can't fix. I love metallic reds!! Here is Orly Torrid with Orly Pink Flakie Topcoat on the accent nail:

On the actual Valentine's Day, I wanted to wear two of my favorite polishes that I haven't worn in a long time! I whipped out OPI Pink Friday from the Nicki Minaj collection and OPI The Thrill of Brazil that were both released a couple of years ago. Both polishes have great formulas and great coverage, not to mention they are so gorgeous!! I need to wear these more often especially on my toes in the summer!! Pink Friday is the perfect Barbie Pink and Thrill of Brazil is a beautiful cherry red creme! Here is OPI Pink Friday and OPI The Thrill of Brazil:

Then the next day I added a coat of ORLY Pink Flakie Topcoat because I love it so much! Dries to a matte finish and I love the blue and pink flakies!!

Breast Cancer Awareness month NOTD!

Hey everyone! Today I have a special post. October is breast cancer awareness month and I have too many women in my family who have fallen victim to this. I am very thankful that these brave women are still alive and doing well. So I decided to do this mani and I spoke about what it represented to everyone who asked me about my mani at work. Pink is the color to represent Breast Cancer awareness so I used three different pink nail polishes. I first started with three coats of OPI Pedal Faster Suzi! from last years OPI Spring collection. Then I added Orly Be Brave from last years Breast Cancer awareness collection and the flash FX collection, with Zoya Arabella on the accent nail which is from the latest Zoya Pixie dust collection.

 

I really loved this mani! This was the first time I wore Zoya Arabella and it didn't disappoint. I never get tired of textured polishes and this one is gorgeous. And I love the pink holo bar glitter of Orly Be Brave. It can be a little tricky to apply but it's beautiful on the nail. Thanks so much for checking out my blog!

NOTD Marc Jacobs edition!! OPI Onyx with China Glaze Nova

Hey everyone! So some of you already know that I work for Sephora and a couple of weeks ago, the Marc Jacobs beauty collection was released and it's been a huge success! So to celebrate the launch of his collection at my job, we had to wear black and shiny nails along with wearing the makeup to match the packaging of his makeup line. I searched through my stash and wanted to do something simple yet different. I chose OPI Black Onyx as a base and chose China Glaze Nova on top. I just did a reverse gradient and an accent nail using Nova. I was very happy how it came out!

Oh just in case you don't know, Marc Jacobs also has a new line of nail polishes!! I can't wait to try those out!! Stay tuned!! Thanks for reading!!

September is here already?!! NOTD OPI A Woman's Prague-ative review

Hey everyone!! I can't believe we're in September already!! I'm going to be catching up a lot with reviews and NOTD's in the next few days. So to bring in September, I decided to put on OPI A Woman's Prague-ative from the Euro central 2013 collection. Even though this color was from the Spring collection, I thought it was a perfect color to bring in September. A Woman's Prague-ative is a gorgeous coppery orange shimmer.  It almost looks like there are gold flakes floating in an orange sea! The formula is flawless as well! Two medium coats and it's opaque! I love it!

NOTD OPI You're Such a Budapest with OPI Polka.com

Hey everyone! Sorry for the lack of posts! Today I have two very pretty nail polishes to review. OPI You're Such a Budapest and OPI Polka.com. Both are from the OPI Euro Centrale Spring 2013 collection. I have a few colors from this very pretty collection. First up is OPI You're Such a Budapest which is a beautiful creamy lavender.

 

OPI You're Such a Budapest is such a pretty almost periwinkle lavender. And the formula is great! This was opaque in two coats, non streaky and just creamy and perfect! This was great on it's own but I decided to add OPI Polka.com on top.

 

 

 

Polka.com is a clear base with blue, teal, purple, and pink hex glitter and small glitter. The distribution of the glitter was a little tricky. The brush wasn't picking up as much glitter as I wanted so I had to do two coats. The formula wasn't really thick or thin. But all in all I love how pretty the mix of colors are in this glitter! OPI Bond Girls Collection review and swatches!!!

Hey everyone!! I have for you today a review and full swatches of the entire OPI Bond Girls collection! This collection was released this Spring and it's celebrates some of the best known Bond girls from the James Bond movies. This collection consists of six textured "liquid sand" polishes. This trend has taken over the nail polish world and I love it! I wore these over OPI Natural nail base coat and no top coat of course. 

 

So I wore these and posted pics on my facebook page but here is my full review, first up, in no particular order we have Vesper:

 

Vesper is a dark purple base with dark purple and black glitter. This is two coats. This applied easily and wore for a solid four days before chipping. This one was the toughest to remove. The black glitter was all over my nails even after I took it off. But it was very vampy and pretty! Next up is Tiffany Case:

Tiffany Case is a gorgeous sparkly light blue base with light blue small and large hex glitter. This is two coats and please excuse some remnants left over from Vesper. I love this! This was my favorite from the collection. I have a fondness for blues! It's so sparkly, this pic doesn't do this color justice! This wore for four days without chipping and was pretty easy to apply and remove. It did however stain a little bit, but if you have a manicure scrub that should be no problem. Next up is Honey Ryder:

Honey Ryder is like liquid gold in a bottle! This is a gold base with tons of gold small and hex glitter. This is two coats and was pretty easy to apply and remove. I wore this for four days without chipping as well. Next up is Pussy Galore:

Pussy Galore (Great name by the way) is a gorgeous, super feminine light pink base with light pink glitter. This is two coats and was pretty easy to apply and remove. Apparently this polish has caused a bit of controversy due to it's name. It's named after a Bond girl so people need to calm down! This polish is amazing and it looks like pink cotton candy on nails! I really loved Pussy Galore because I have nothing like it in my collection! This wore for about four days without chipping. Next up is Jinx:

Jinx is an uber sparkly tangerine orange base with tons of gold and orange glitter. This color is amazing! Jinx is my second favorite! This is two coats and I can't tell you enough how gorgeous this is in person! This was easy to apply and remove but it chipped after two days. I love it anyway! So gorgeous and perfect for summer! And last but not least is Solitaire:

Solitaire is a white base with tons of white glitter and specks of silver glitter. This was the sheerest of the bunch. The other colors were pretty opaque but this one took three coats for full coverage. This looks like sugar and snow on my nails, it's so pretty and unique! I'm still wearing this color and testing it's wear time but this is the second day and so far so good.

 

I love this collection! There wasn't a color that I can say I didn't like! If you're a fan of textured polishes, I definitely recommend you pick these up. Great colors, easy application and removal (except for Vesper). I'd love for OPI to bring out more Bond girl polishes because there are so many Bond girls! OPI Liquid Sand Mariah Carey Collection review

Hey everyone! First of all I just wanted to thank all of you who entered my 900 facebook follower giveaway! I will have more giveaways soon! Today I finally have put together my review for the OPI Spring 2013 Mariah Carey collection Liquid Sand nail polishes. This liquid sand collection consists of four shades. They apply like regular nail polish but they dry to a matte, textured finish. I received a lot of compliments when I wore these at my job.

OPI Can't Let Go

First up is the shade Can't Let Go. This is a purple jelly base with purple glitter with small and large hex purple glitter. This is two coats.

OPI Get Your Number

Next is OPI Get Your Number. This is a blue jelly base with large and small blue glitter with some holo glitter mixed in. This is two coats. I was a little disappointed with this one. In the bottle, this looks so stunning and deep blue but on the nail it was lighter and I didn't get too much of the holo glitter on the nail. I might need more coats.



OPI Stay the Night

Next is OPI Stay the Night which is a black jelly base with small glitter mixed with larger red glitter. This is three coats. This was really pretty the first two days, then the red color from the glitter started rubbing off and just looked like silver glitter. I had to use three coats because two coats just looked grayish on my nails.

OPI The Impossible

Last but not least is OPI The Impossible. This was a pinkish jelly base with small, hex and star shaped pink glitter. As pretty as this looked on the nail, this one was a little annoying. This is two coats, it was very difficult to get the star glitter out the bottle and onto the nail. Then the star glitter dried but the ends were sticking up. The very next day one of the stars came off my thumb. Bummer. Next time I will try this with a gel topcoat to seal down the glitter.

All of these shades were surprisingly not that difficult to remove like other glitter polishes. Most of these lasted three to four whole days before they started chipping with is pretty good considering that you don't wear a topcoat with these. Some don't like the texture but I don't mind. Textured polishes look like a trend this year. I can't wait to check out the new Zoya textured polishes and compare them to these. Anyway, I think they are worth checking out if you haven't yet. I just thought they all looked prettier in the bottle than on the nail. What do you guys think of the textured polish trend? Thanks for reading!

 

My favorite polishes of 2012!!

Hello beauties! I've finally created my list of favorite nail polishes of 2012! I love reading everyone else's favorites as well. First let's start with my favorite topcoat collection! Flakies were huge in 2012 so of course who can forget the coveted Finger Paints Flake Effects collection released in January!

These are amazing! Zoya and Essie also had great flakies as well. The Finger Paints collection were limited and now hard to find but Zoya and Essie flakies are still available!
My favorite glitter collection of 2012 was the Orly flash glam FX glitters! These are just amazing! I don't own all of them but I do have a good amount!







Kudos to Orly for bringing these to us!

My favorite summer collection has to be the China Glaze neons of 2012! Hands down! They were almost all amazing! Except for one jelly, all of these were opaque and gorgeous!

Ok, enough with collections! 2012 was a year full of great nail polish collections! Here are my top 10 favorite polishes of 2012... which was difficult because I easily had like a top 30!!
