Hello! Technically summer hasn't started but I hope everyone is enjoying this summer like weather in New York. One thing I love about the summer is all the bright nail polish collections! Last week I wore Essie I'm Addicted from the Too Taboo summer 2014 collection. It's the only one I picked up from that collection because I have a weakness for blue nail polishes! I'm Addicted is a bright blue that has almost a jelly consistency. I used three coats to get opacity. The formula itself is great, easy to apply, and if you put it over a white base coat then all you need is two coats. Here is Essie I'm Addicted:
I wore it by itself for two days then I added Color Club Something New which is a clear base with white and light blue different shaped glitter. I love this!! Tons of white glitter on each brush stroke! This is just one coat of Color Club Something New:
I'm really loving the newer Color Club polishes! I've always liked Color Club but the newer collections are spectacular!!
This glitter reminds me of a snowglobe on my nails! I can't wait to use this with different colors! Well, thanks for checking out my blog!! Follow me also on Instagram @nailsneverfails :)

NOTD and review for Color Club For You
Hello lovies!! The other day I stopped by my local nail supply shop and I picked up a bunch of Color Club nail polishes! One of them is the awesome For You. Color Club For You is a white base with red, purple, green, blue, and yellow hex glitter of different sizes. There are a few indie brand polishes that are just like this but I've never gotten my hand on those. Here is two coats of Color Club For You over Formula X neon base coat (which is a white base coat):
I love this polish! Reminds me of Jawbreakers candy! The formula on this was pretty easy to work with as well. Each brush stroke was full of glitter so it was easy to place on the nail. This could be a one coater over a white base as well as a two coater without a white base. I'm wearing this on my nails now and I've received tons of compliments! I haven't worn any Color Club in a while and I remembered how much I love this brand!! Thanks for reading!!

Some more awesome Impress press on nails! NOTD and review
Hi beauties! So I have been going to horror/sci fi and comic conventions for years! I always like to have horror or sci fi themed nails when I go to these just for fun. So in March and April I attended Monster Mania and Chiller Theatre in New Jersey and I put on some fun Impress nails! I picked these up last year around Halloween. Impress comes out with these limited edition press ons and I always pick them up and put them away for special occasions.
I wore the first ones to Monster Mania. These are awesome! They have a blood splatter effect plus trees and crosses on them! They just straight up remind me of the movie The Exorcist!
I wore the next nails most recently last weekend at the Chiller Theatre expo in New Jersey. These are so cute with the little cat eyes!! I received sooooo many compliments!
I love these press ons! They are so easy to apply, they come individually with the adhesion attached. You just find the perfect size for your nail, peel off the tab to expose the adhesion/glue on the nail and press down onto your own nail. You always want to apply the thumb nails last because it's easier to attach the other nails with the thumbs free. And they actually last for a week! In both instances, one or two nails started to come off at about the 6th and 7th day. To remove you can just gently peel them off or soak them for a few seconds in acetone and they pull right off. I love these and can't wait to pick up more!! Thanks for reading!!
Deborah Lippmann Mermaid's Dream NOTD and review
Hello beauties! So sorry I haven't posted in a while, life has been crazy! Anyway, today I have a review of the gorgeous Mermaid's Dream by Deborah Lippmann. I know this isn't a new polish but it is certainly one of my favorites. I received Mermaid's Dream as a gift from my mom. I've been meaning to buy it since it came out like two years ago! Anyway, Mermaid's Dream is a gorgeous shimmery sea foam green sparkly polish that is truly one of a kind. I'm sure there are dupes for this but this one started it all!
I love Mermaid's Dream! It's very unique and just reminds me of a mermaid's tail. The actual polish lasted me about 4 days before it chipped which is not bad for a glittery polish. I can't wait to wear this more this summer! Thanks for reading and checking out my blog! I'm also on Instagram if you are interested in my life as well as my nails. Follow me @Nailsneverfails
The formula is easy to work with, I used three thin coats.

Valentine's Day Mani's!!
Hello lovelies! So I'm not a huge fan of Valentine's Day at all but I did wear a couple of V-day mani's. First I whipped out Orly Torrid which is a gorgeous metallic red. Then I wanted something simple for the accent nail so I just put on one coat of Orly Pink Flakie topcoat which I love and I should have bought another back up bottle when I found them on sale at Sally's!! The formula on Torrid was a little thin but nothing three coats can't fix. I love metallic reds!! Here is Orly Torrid with Orly Pink Flakie Topcoat on the accent nail:
On the actual Valentine's Day, I wanted to wear two of my favorite polishes that I haven't worn in a long time! I whipped out OPI Pink Friday from the Nicki Minaj collection and OPI The Thrill of Brazil that were both released a couple of years ago. Both polishes have great formulas and great coverage, not to mention they are so gorgeous!! I need to wear these more often especially on my toes in the summer!! Pink Friday is the perfect Barbie Pink and Thrill of Brazil is a beautiful cherry red creme! Here is OPI Pink Friday and OPI The Thrill of Brazil:
Then the next day I added a coat of ORLY Pink Flakie Topcoat because I love it so much! Dries to a matte finish and I love the blue and pink flakies!!
I hope everyone had a nice Valentine's day! Thanks for reading!!

Sephora X Fahrenheit and Sephora X Chaotic NOTD and review!!
Hey everyone! I know I haven't posted in a while, Feb was a pretty crazy month! But I want to try and catch up and post about some mani's I had in February. First let's start with Sephora X Fahrenheit. I wore this in the beginning of February. Fahrenheit is part of the New Classics collection and is described as a cool tone red. The formula on this is great and easy to apply. Sephora really hit the mark on these polishes!! This is two coats of Sephora X Fahrenheit:

I'm not a huge fan of red cremes but this one is awesome especially because of the formula. I decided to topz off Fahrenheit with one coat of Sephora X Chaotic:

Chaotic is one of my favorite toppers ever!! Goes on easily, tons of glitter per brushstroke, and it just looks dope over any color!! I love it! I have many toppers like this but this one is the easiest to apply. Love it! Thanks for reading!! And if you're not following me on instagram, please check me out @Nailsneverfails Thanks again!!

New Year NOTD Deborah Lippmann Stronger
Hey everyone! I know I'm a little late but Happy new year! To bring in the new year I wanted to wear a super sparkly festive glitter! I chose Deborah Lippmann Stronger. This awesome glitter is named after Kelly Clarkson's song of the same name. Stronger is a gorgeous blue jelly base packed with red, silver, gold and blue multi shaped glitter. With glitter polishes like these, they are best applied by dabbing the brush onto the nail as opposed to single strokes. You get more glitter on the nail that way. Here are two coats of Stronger:
I love it!! As you can see, chock full of glitter!! Deborah Lippmann has some of the best glitter polishes. Just be prepared to use the foil method or soak in acetone. These babies are tough to remove but well worth it. The wear time on these vary, I had glitter chipping off the very next day, but other glitters I've picked up from DL last from 2-4 days before chipping. I find that a good thick coat of top coat like Seche Vite makes a big difference on the wear time. Anyway, Stronger is sold at Sephora. I believe it's exclusive to Sephora. Thanks for reading and checking out my blog. Check out my instagram @nailsneverfails

Essie NOTD On a Silver Platter review and Sephora X Law of Attraction! Dupes!!
Hey everyone! Today I have a review of Essie On a Silver Platter. This polish is from the Essie 2013 Encrusted Treasures Holiday collection. This collection consists of all types of glitter and textured polishes. I picked this up a couple of weeks ago because it looked so gorgeous in the bottle. On a Silver Platter is a gold shimmer polish with blue holo glitter of all sizes. I read a lot of bad reviews on this polish but I like it. Here are two coats:
The polish itself is a little sheer, you can add three coats but I stuck with two. This sparkles so pretty in the light. I received a lot of compliments on this mani. I also found a dupe of this while at Sephora. Here is Sephora X Law of Attraction:
This is an exact dupe! Same formula, applies the same, not too thick, not too thin. Same size glitter and everything. So if you can't find one you can get the other. The Sephora x version is $12.50 at Sephora and Essie prices vary from $5-10 depending on where you buy them. They are a little difficult to remove so prepare yourself for that. Other than that, I love this nail polish and I plan on using it again before the holidays are over! Thanks for reading!! Happy Holidays!!

NOTD More Sephora Formula X polishes in Outburst and Lightning!!
Hey everyone! I've got two more gorgeous Sephora X polishes for you today! I'm in love with the Sephora Formula X collection! These polishes are awesome and I haven't found a color I don't like. So I put on Outburst on one hand and Lightning on another and I could not stop staring at my nails. First we have Outburst. This is a blue jelly base with tons of multi sized holo glitter. This is two coats with a top coat:
I love it! And it's so much more sparkly in person. Here's a close up:
The formula is pretty easy to work with. Tons of glitter on each brush stroke and the glitter pretty much lays flat. I thought two coats were enough and I was very happy with the look. This bad boy is tough to remove so you definitely need to use the foil method or soak your nails in remover for a few minutes to take it off.
I wore Lightning on my right hand which is a green jelly base with tons of multi shaped holo glitter. Here is two coats with top coat:
This is beyond gorgeous! I really love this especially since I have nothing else like it in my collection. This was uber sparkly especially in the sun! I can't wait to wear these in the summer. Removal was the same, definitely need the foil method or soak your nails in remover for a few. Each brush stroke was chock full of glitter. I received so many compliments! Overall, I love these! If you love glitter and holo then you will love these. They are well worth the pain in the butt removal. I wore these for about 4 days and they started to chip. These are available to purchase at Sephora stores and on Sephora.com for $12.50. Have you tried any Sephora Formula X polishes yet?

Impress Limited Edition Halloween nails NOTD and review!!
Hey everyone! In celebration for Halloween, I wanted to try something different but with a Halloween theme. A few weeks ago, I was given some Impress nail kits at New York Comic Con. A couple of weeks before that I picked up a couple of Impress nail kits from Rite Aid. I've tried and reviewed Impress press on nails before and I really like them.
The tricky part is mostly finding the right size for each of your nails. It's better to have the nails slightly smaller than your own nails than if they are bigger. Then you peel off the plastic off of each nail and firmly press the nail down onto your bare clean nails. They get easier to use, the more you use them. The glue might strip your natural nail so soak your nails in acetone for a few minutes before peeling off the nails. So I first put on these:
These were awesome and they lasted almost a week! They would have lasted on much longer, I just wanted to change them. The only thing was that the paint on the very tips started to wear off but that's all. Nothing a little nail polish couldn't fix. I wore these for a horror convention I attended last weekend, now I'm wearing these:
These are great! I love them! They are easy to apply, easy to remove once you get the hang of it, and they are just so darn cute! These Halloween designs are limited edition so if you see them, grab them! They are sold in Rite Aid and other drug stores. Have you or would you ever try Impress press on nails? Have a happy and safe Halloween everyone!!
